Baby Cashmere Jumper
This 100% baby cashmere jumper is knitted in Scotland from exceptionally fine Italian-spun yarn. It is remarkably soft, warm and lightweight.
Baby cashmere is one of the world’s finest natural fibres. It comes from the soft undercoat of young Mongolian Hircus goats and can only be collected once, before they are six months old. Each goat produces no more than around 80g of usable fibre, which measures just 13.5 microns in diameter.
The baby cashmere yarn is knitted using a chainette construction, which creates greater volume and softness without adding weight. The result is a jumper that looks substantial and feels warm, but remains remarkably light to wear.
